Throughout this module, I've honed my Discipline-Specific Knowledge (TGC 1.0) by delving into sustainability design theories, exploring passive design interventions for daylighting, thermal comfort, and green buildings. Moreover, I've significantly developed my ability to articulate ideas and convey them visually through posters and videos, enhancing my communication skills (TGC 4.0). This journey has also sharpened my critical thinking and problem-solving abilities (TGC 3.0), fostering a mindset of continuous learning (TGC 2.0). For instance, when faced with challenges in navigating an unfamiliar Autocad app for house modeling, I proactively sought out tutorials and conducted extensive research, recognizing the opportunity to acquire valuable skills. Overall, while the module presented interesting topics, it required more emphasis on research and data collection rather than presenting significant challenges. By the conclusion of this session, I anticipate a heightened understanding of environmental conditions in architecture design and the application of variables like heat, light, and ventilation for optimal building design on both local and global scales.
