"Comparative Analysis Report"

This project involves forming a 10-member group to research and analyze a chosen building, crafting a colorful A4 digital booklet. After that, we need to create an A1 poster integrating Augmented Reality (AR) via preferred AR apps. The objective is to acquaint students with research culmination and production, encompassing various activities like arranging chronologically, diagramming, evaluating information, composing and organizing studies, assembling illustrations and text, designing layouts, and delivering posters and presentations.

A4 Digital Booklet

Our group selected the 'National Mosque' as the heritage building for our research and analysis. In the booklet, we've covered various sections including an introduction, fast facts, historical background, architect details, architectural layout, construction analysis, structural materials, and architectural elements/components of National Mosque. To substantiate this information, we've also included photos, notes, and diagrams as evidence within the booklet.

A1 Augmented Reality Poster

After finalizing the A4 digital booklet, our focus shifted to creating an A1 poster. We condensed crucial and valuable information into the poster using a provided template. Finally, we enhanced interactivity and engagement by integrating Augmented Reality (AR) through the Blippar app.

TGC 1.0: Discipline Specific Knowledge

Through this assignment, I successfully utilized my knowledge to explore visual composition, conduct extensive research, and identify relevant architectural styles and specific building elements of the National Mosque. Moreover, I am able to effectively apply the architectural knowledge that have been taught during lectures to develop captivating digital booklets and posters meticulously.

TGC 2.0: Lifelong Learning

This assignment enabled me to proficiently locate, extract, synthesize, and apply internet-researched information into creating booklets and posters. Additionally, I've demonstrated the capacity for independent learning when encountering obstacles. Despite being unfamiliar with the AR app, I extensively researched and watched tutorial videos on YouTube to grasp its functionalities.

TGC 3.0: Thinking and Problem Solving skills

In the group assignment, I cultivated critical thinking skills to address the challenge of managing two simultaneous assignments from different modules. This was resolved by dividing the members into two groups, each responsible for handling a separate task.

TGC 4.0: Communication Skills

I honed my ability to effectively present relevant information about the National Mosque in a clear and engaging graphic format. Crafting the composition of the booklets was also crucial in visualizing and effectively communicating the contents to others.
